Mix the olive brine (reserved juices from green olives) with the 1 1/3 cups of warm water.
Add all ingredients (except for the sliced olives) into the bread machine in the order given, or as recommended in you bread machine manual.
Select Basic or White Bread setting; 2-lb loaf; medium crust.
If required, add more water or flour, a tablespoon at a time, to form a firm, slightly sticky, non-crumbly ball of dough.
Add the sliced olives at the beep.
Makes one 2-lb loaf of olive bread.

Select the BASIC or WHITE BREAD cycle, 1 1/2 pounds and press START.
Monitor the first few minutes of kneading. If necessary to form a smooth, non-stick dough ball, add more flour or water a tablespoon at a time, as needed.

Use 2 lb loaf setting, for whole wheat. Altho, I find the basic setting on mine works well with the light spelt. My machine also comes close to burning the bottom so I set the browning to light. You know your settings best.

Measure into your bread machine as per it's instructions.
Cook on the sweet, white timer (4 hours on mine).
This makes a 1 1/2 lb loaf.

Follow your breadmaker's instructions regarding how to add ingredients. My breadmaker requests me to do the following:
Add liquids to the bread pan first, then dry. Level the dry; quarter the butter and add to corners. Make an impression in the center of the dry ingredients and add the yeast.
If bread collapses during the baking period, next time add 1 or 1 1/2 tablespoons vital wheat gluten to the recipe to prevent from happening again.
I set my bread maker to 'whole wheat', 'light crust', '2 lb loaf'.
Place ingredients in order listed or according to your bread machine manufacturers instructions. Put settings for a 2 lb loaf, multigrain loaf for a light or medium crust. Wait and enjoy!

Use the whole wheat setting on the bread machine to bake the bread.

Set crust on dark and program for Basic or Fruit and Nut cycle; press Start.
When the machine beeps, or between Knead 1 and Knead 2, add the hominy.
