To make the funnel cake:
in a mixing bowl,
Combine water, egg and funnel cake mix. Stir until smooth. This is enough batter to make 9 (5 inch) funnel cakes.
Use your favorite white cake recipe or use 1 white cake mix and bake according to instructions in 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Let cool 10 to 15 minutes.
Poke holes in the cake with a toothpick, fork tines, etc.
rease and flour a 9\" cake pan.Preheat oven to 350
Melt butter, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice in a saucepan.
Spray sides and bottom of a cake pan.
Pour brown sugar mixture into it.
Arrange pineapple rings and cherries on top.
Prepare cake mix according to directions on package, or make your favorite cake recipe and pour over mixture in cake pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
Let stand to cool a few minutes, then invert onto a plate.
Prepare favorite white cake recipe or boxed cake mix and divide batter between 1 (8-inch) square pan and 1 (8-inch) round pan.
Bake according to directions.
Remove cakes from pan and cool.
Use any good cake recipe
to make 4 layers.
Bake 2 plain, then add raisins, nut meats, cinnamon and cloves.
When cool stick with filling.
Mix Bisquick, milk and eggs in bowl. Heat 1-inch of oil in skillet over medium heat. Pour batter in funnel. Hold your finger over end of funnel. Drizzle spiral shapes into oil. Cook until brown on both sides. Drain on a paper towel. Coat with confectioners sugar.
Heat about 1 inch of oil in a large skillet to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Combine baking mix, sugar, cocoa sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl; add chocolate milk, eggs, and cream and stir until batter is smooth. Pour batter into a funnel, placing your finger on the hole to keep batter from dripping.
Swirl batter into the hot oil; cook until golden brown, 5 to 7 minutes per side. Transfer funnel cakes to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
Heat oven to 375\u00b0F.
Grease 9-inch round pan.
Make Cinnamon Streusel; reserve. (my sister often doubles this recipe so that there is lots of topping).
Stir coffee cake batter ingredients until blended.
Spread in pan.
Sprinkle with Cinnamon Streusel.
Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.
Let sit a few minutes and then serve warm with butter and lots of milk or coffee.
Blend all of the coffee cake ingredients.
Beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
Spread into greased 9\" layer pan or 8\" square pan.
For topping, blend all topping ingredients with fingertips until crumbly.
Spread topping on coffee cake.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

In a large bowl mix ingredients well until smooth.
Pour into greased 8 or 9 inch cake pan (round or square, your choice).
Place in steamer and steam for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
I you desire you may spread cake with butter while hot and sprinkle with sugar or sugar and cinnamon.
Optional: if you have a large steamer you can make muffins.
Fill muffin tins 2/3 full and steam for 20 minutes or until a wooden pick comes out clean.
Heat oven to 375\u00b0F.
Grease round pan.
Prepare streusel topping (1/3 cup Bisquick, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon and butter) and set aside.
Mix well Bisquick, milk, sugar and egg.
Spread in pan and sprinkle with streusel topping.
Bake 18-20 minutes.
