Bring the 2 cups of water to a rolling boil. Drop the tea bags in the water and then the soda. Cook about 1 minute. Cover with lid and remove from heat or just turn the burner off. Let steep (sit) for about 15 minutes. Put sugar in a 2-quart pitcher and pour hot tea in and stir to dissolve. Add enough cold water to fill the pitcher. Add the lemon juice and serve over ice.

add tea bags.
cook on medium heat until comes to a good boil. it will be foamy.
put sugar in gallon jug (pitcher).
pour boiling tea over sugar.
stir well to dissolve sugar.
add water until jug is full (may not use whole gallon of water).
stir well.
pour over ice (i like mine anyway i can get it ice or no ice).
drink and enjoy!

A Secret Ingredient To Southern Style "Sweet Tea"

On your stove top bring water to boil, with the tea bags.
Once it reaches a boil, remove from heat & let stand to brew for a few minutes.
Remove bags.
Add sugar, (add gradually, taste until you have it the way you like it).
Return to heat until sugar is completely dissolved (just a minute or so).
Add ice, put into container, pour, (or put into container, then add ice, then poor lol).
Enjoy!
