Add tomato soup (undiluted).
Cook egg noodles; drain.
Add cream of chicken soup (undiluted).
Layer hamburger mixture and noodle mixture in casserole dish with cheese in between each layer.
Top with grated cheese, if desired.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. This makes a very large casserole; good for a crowd.
I sometimes split it into two dishes and freeze one for a later date.
