This takes a while to prepare as corn must be cleaned of husk and silk.

This is not so much a correction as it is an addition we have recently discovered.We will now leave the bacon whole in the plastic ziploc. If we want bacon and eggs we just take what we want and heat in microwave. If we want some for salads we just crumble and use.
Melt 2 tablespoons bacon grease in heavy skillet.
Crumble
melt bacon grease and butter in a sauce pan over medium heat.
add flour and mix creating a roux.
whisk in milk slowly to prevent lumps.
whisk untill smooth and thick.
add bullion cube and salt and pepper.
TIPS- If your sauce gets to thick add more milk. If it is to runny, add more flour. You can serve this sauce over potatoes, biscuits, chicken fried steak, etc.
Put all ingredients (except crumbled bacon)in a pot and bring to a hard boil.
Reduce heat to medium so that the rice boils fairly fast.
Cook for 25-30 minutes till the water cooks out enough that the rice just starts to stick.
Add crumbled bacon and serve.
Mix first 6 ingredients in a rice cooker. Stir occassionally to keep from sticking.
While rice is cooking, fry 4 slices of bacon, add chopped onion to bacon grease and cook until tender.
Add corn and chopped cilantro and remove from heat.
Add this mixture to the cooking rice.

Melt bacon grease in stockpot and sear meat
Fry sausage until golden brown.
Add bacon grease, then flour to the grease and cooked sausage.
Stir until blended.
Cook until raw flavor of the flour cooks out (about 2 or 3 minutes, not too brown though).
Now add your milk.
Stir constantly until desired thickness.
Serve over your favorite biscuits.
