Momma'S Tomato Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 heaping Tbsp. bacon grease
    flour, approximately 1/2 c.
    salt
    pepper
    1 can diced tomatoes or equal amt. of fresh tomatoes
    water
Preparation
    Melt bacon grease in an iron skillet.
    When grease is hot, add enough flour to make a thick paste.
    Salt and pepper to taste. Add tomatoes and stir well.
    Add water to make gravy consistency. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
    Serve for breakfast over fresh biscuits or toast, or serve for lunch or dinner over rice.
