Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup caster sugar
1 2/3 cups self-rising flour, sifted
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
5 oz coarsely chopped macadamia nuts, toasted
15 tbsp butter, melted, cooled
1 None large egg, lightly beaten
1 None large egg yolk, lightly beaten
7 oz dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.
Combine sugar, flour and nuts in a large bowl. Combine butter, egg, egg yolk and vanilla then mix into dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in chocolate. Shape into balls, each around 2 tbsp, and place 2 1/2 inches apart on lightly greased baking trays. Bake for 16 mins, or until lightly browned. Let cool on trays.
