Walnut And Parsley Quick Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups self-rising flour
    4 tbsp (1/2 stick) butter, chopped
    1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
    1/4 cup chopped parsley
    1 cup milk, plus additional, for brushing
    None None Sea salt
    None None Butter, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. Lightly grease a baking pan.
    Sift flour into a large bowl. Add butter, and rub in using fingertips until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Stir in cheese, walnuts and parsley. Season to taste.
    Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add combined milk and 1 cup water all at once. Mix to a soft, sticky dough.
    Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Divide dough evenly in 2 pieces. Knead each gently and then press into rounds. Place both rounds on prepared pan. Brush with a little additional milk and sprinkle with sea salt.
    Bake for 25-30 mins, until golden and hollow when tapped on the underside. Serve warm with butter.
