Apricot And Walnut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, at room temperature
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 None egg
    1/2 cup self-rising flour
    1 cup puffed rice cereal
    1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
    Beat butter and brown sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Add egg and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and beat until blended. Roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls and place on prepared pans, allowing room for spreading.
    Bake for 15 mins, until golden. Cool in pan 1 minute. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
