Ingredients

1 cup plus 2 tbsp (2 1/4 sticks) butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup chopped dried apricots
2 tbsp orange marmalade
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
2 tsp lemon juice

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add sifted flour, apricots, marmalade and vanilla; mix until well blended. Refrigerate for 10 mins, until firm.
Roll tablespoonfuls of mixture into balls. Place 1 1/2 inches apart on prepared pans. Flatten slightly using floured fingertips.
Bake for 10-15 mins until golden. Cool on pans for 5 mins. Remove from pans; cool completely on wire racks.
Mix powdered sugar, lemon juice and enough hot water in medium bowl until mixture is smooth and of a spreadable consistency. Drizzle icing over cookies. Let stand until firm.
