Banana-Walnut Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 cups flour
    1 1/4 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Mix sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Add egg one at a time, mixing to incorporate well.
    Add mashed banana.
    Mix all dry ingredients together and add to wet ingredients 1/3 at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Spoon into well-greased loaf pan 5\" x 13\".
    Bake@ 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
