Zucchini Dip - cooking recipe

1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
2 cups shredded zucchini, divided
1/2 cup salsa verde (green salsa)
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chiles
1/2 cup chopped red onion
salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation

Blend garbanzo beans, 1 cup zucchini, salsa verde, and green chiles in a blender until smooth; pour into a bowl.
Stir remaining zucchini and red onion into the blended mixture; season with salt and black pepper.
