Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt twice.
Set oven at 400\u00b0 and prepare cookie pans.
Cream shortening and blend in sugar.
Mix in eggs, milk and vanilla.
Add flour to form stiff dough.
Chill.
Roll out and cut with cookie cutter.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle lightly with sugar and bake for 10 minutes.
