Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
    4 Tbsp. oleo or cooking oil
    1/2 can water (soup can)
    4 oz. can mushrooms
    1 c. onion, chopped
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    4 c. cooked noodles
Preparation
    Brown steak and onions in butter.
    Add 1/2 cup water and simmer over low heat 45 minutes.
    Add soup and simmer 15 minutes more.
    Add sour cream and mushrooms and heat through until boiling. Serve over noodles.
