Ingredients

1 c. (2 sticks) margarine
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
3 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. Quaker oats, uncooked
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in oats, morsels and nuts; mix well.
Drop by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 10 minutes for chewy cookie or 12 to 13 minutes for crisp cookie.
Cool for one minute on cookie sheet.
Move to wire rack. Makes 5 dozen 2 1/2-inch cookies.
