Gumdrop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. minute oatmeal
1 c. chopped nuts
1 heaping c. chopped gumdrops

Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add all other ingredients and mix well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
Makes about 6 dozen.
At Christmas, these are nice with red and green gumdrops.
