Ingredients

1 c. vegetable shortening
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 (3 1/2 oz.) box instant pudding
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream shortening, sugar and brown sugar together.
Stir in pudding.
Beat eggs lightly and stir them into pudding mixture.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir into pudding mixture.
Blend well and fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 7 dozen.
