Cheese Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf French bread
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. chopped green onions
oleo
Preparation

Split bread in half lengthwise and place on a large baking sheet.
Butter each half generously.
Mix mayonnaise, cheese and onions in a small mixing bowl.
Mix well, then spread on bread until all mixture is used.
Place under broiler until cheese melts.
It should be brown and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before slicing.
