Zucchini Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. ground squash
    3 medium onions
    1 large green pepper
    1 jar pimento
    1/4 c. salt
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. turmeric or dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Grind and mix squash, onion, green pepper and pimento.
    Soak in salt overnight.
    Drain.
    Add other ingredients; boil 5 minutes, then simmer 30 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal hot.
