Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
8 Tbsp. cocoa
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1/2 c. chopped nuts
4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cook sugar, milk, butter and cocoa for 2 1/2 minutes.
Start counting when mixture has reached a full, rolling boil.
Stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add oats, nuts, vanilla and peanut butter.
Beat well until mixture is blended well.
Spoon onto waxed paper.
Let cool until firm.
