Black Walnut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (not margarine)
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. black walnuts, chopped
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. raisins
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Sift flour with soda.
    Add to creamed mixture.
    Stir in raisins and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes, depending on oven; watch carefully. Yields 70 to 80 cookies.
