Grandma'S Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening (1/2 butter, 1/2 Crisco)
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    4 tsp. molasses
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cloves (ground)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten egg and molasses. Roll in 1-inch balls.
    Roll in granulated sugar.
    Place far apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or 15 minutes for crispy.
