Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
grated lemon rind
Preparation

Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Let stand for 5 minutes in pan, then pour 1/3 cup white sugar dissolved in juice of lemon.
Let stand until cool.
