Irish Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. margarine
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. raisins
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed (optional)
Preparation
    Sift the flour and dry ingredients together.
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and sour cream.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Stir until just blended.
    Fold in raisins and caraway seed.
    Place in greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about
    50 minutes.
    Rub a little butter over the top of the bread.
