Cherry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. butter
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. cherry juice
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    8 c. flour
    1 c. (16 oz.) maraschino cherries, drained and cut up
    remaining cherry juice
Preparation
    Combine milk, butter, sugar and salt; let cool to lukewarm. Add yeast, 1/2 c. cherry juice, eggs, vanilla, flour, cherries and remaining juice.
    Mix until it forms a smooth, soft dough.
    Let rise 10 minutes.
    Mix down and let rise again until double in bulk.
    Shape into 4 or 5 loaves.
    Let rise until double.
    Bake for 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Good toasted or with cream cheese.
