Molasses Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
    4 tsp. baking soda
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Melt shortening over low heat.
    Cool.
    Add sugar, molasses and eggs.
    Beat well.
    Add other ingredients to sifted flour.
    Mix well.
    Chill overnight.
    Form in 1-inch balls.
    Roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased sheet at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
