Ingredients

3/4 c. butter flavored Crisco
1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. pecan pieces
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Combine Crisco, sugar, vanilla and milk in a bowl.
Beat until creamy.
Add egg and beat.
Add flour, salt and soda.
Mix into creamed mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by 2 tablespoon-size onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet.
Makes 2 1/4 dozen.
