English Muffin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkgs. dry yeast
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. milk
    cornmeal
    6 c. unsifted flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups of flour, sugar, salt and soda.
    Heat milk to 115 degrees.
    Add yeast and dissolve.
    Add milk to dry mixture and beat well. Stir in the other 3 cups of flour gradually to make a stiff batter.
    This batter is not like kneaded bread, and will be somewhat sticky.
    Divide batter between 2 loaf pans that have been greased and coated with cornmeal.
    Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
    Remove from pans after 5 minutes and let cool.
