Lemon Curd(Sissy'S Sauce For Mama'S Bread Pudding) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. cold water
1 beaten egg yolk
1 tsp. butter
1 Tbsp. lemon rind
juice of 1 lemon
2 Tbsp. golden raisins (optional)
Preparation

Combine cornstarch, sugar and cold water in saucepan.
Stir until all lumps are gone.
Heat.
Simmer until transparent. Remove pan from heat.
Combine 1/3 of mixture with egg yolk. Place back into pan.
Heat 1 to 2 additional minutes.
Do not boil.
Sauce will thicken.
Stir in butter, lemon rind, lemon juice and raisins.
Spoon over hot pudding.
