Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 c. milk
    3 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1 1/3 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. margarine
    3 well beaten egg yolks
Preparation
    Cook and stir cornmeal and water until like mush.
    Remove from heat.
    Add sugar, baking powder, salt and butter.
    Stir in milk and well beaten egg yolks.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Bake in a greased 2-quart casserole in a slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
    Serves 8.
