Ingredients

1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) pkg. candy-coated chocolate candies
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Mix sugars, butter, shortening, vanilla and egg.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
