Hobo Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 tsp. baking soda
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 c. raisins
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Mix baking soda and boiling water and pour over raisins; let stand overnight.
    Do not stir in the morning.
    Add remaining ingredients to raisin mixture; mix well.
    Grease and flour three 1-pound coffee cans and divide mixture evenly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
    Cool 1/2 hour in cans before removing breads. Place cans on side and turn until bread is loosened.
    Slice and serve with butter or cream cheese.
