Ingredients

1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. light brown sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten
1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Mix butter and sugar together.
In a separate bowl put next 6 ingredients together.
Add sugar and butter mix.
Fold into well-greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Let cool in oven.
