Ingredients

1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. finely ground toasted, sliced, blanched almonds
dash of salt
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar.
Beat until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and extracts.
Gradually blend in flour.
Use pastry bag with large decorative tip.
Pipe dough about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven.
Yield:
3 to 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
