Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. cooked, mashed pumpkin
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, lightly beaten
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients; stir well.
Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add pecans; stir.
Add flour mixture to pumpkin mixture; stir well.
Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes.
Yields 2 loaves.
