Applesauce Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1/2 c. applesauce
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Mix shortening, brown sugar and eggs, then stir in applesauce, then sift together flour, soda, salt and spices.
Then mix in raisins and nuts.
Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
