Vanilla Nut Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sifted brown sugar
    2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. chopped nutmeats
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour and measure; add baking powder and salt and sift again.
    Cream butter thoroughly; add sugars gradually and cream well.
    Add eggs, nuts and vanilla.
    Add flour gradually.
    Shape into roll 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
    Let stand in the box overnight or until hard enough to slice.
    Bake in hot oven.
