Gussie'S Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 scant c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
    Sift flour; measure and add soda, salt and baking powder.
    Add buttermilk and dry ingredients alternately.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in well-greased Bundt cake pan for 1 hour or until done at 325\u00b0.
