Ingredients

2 sticks butter, softened
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

In a large bowl, beat sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
In a small bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, mixing well.
Dough will be sticky. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
