Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 unbaked pie shell
4 eggs
2 1/4 c. milk
grating of nutmeg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Brush pie shell slightly with beaten white from 1 egg.
Add rest of white to remaining eggs.
Beat slightly. Scald milk.
Pour over combined eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
Mix well and pour into pie shell. Bake in preheated oven at 425\u00b0 about 25 minutes or until set. Cool.
