Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter
    1 box brown sugar
    2 eggs
    6 c. flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and dry ingredients. Knead if necessary to get all of flour in.
    Make 3 or 4 rolls and chill.
    Slice and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    One half cup nuts may be added.
    Makes about 60 cookies.
