Cinnamon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/3 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 1/2 oz. butter or margarine
    20 blanched and chopped almonds
Preparation
    Cream eggs and sugar thoroughly, then add flour, baking powder and cinnamon.
    Boil butter and water together, then pour over the dough and mix well.
    Mix in chopped almonds.
    The cake is baked in a special grooved pan which is about 4 inches across and 11 inches long and resembles a tube which has been cut lengthwise.
    Grease and flour pan and pour batter in; bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
    If you wish, just before serving sprinkle with powdered sugar.
