Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Sift first four ingredients together.
Set aside.
Cream shortening with electric mixer.
Add sugar and eggs.
Beat until well blended.
On low speed, add flour mixture and mashed bananas alternately.
Fold in nuts.
Pour into greased and floured bread tin.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 40 to 50 minuets.
Makes 1 loaf.
