Hazel'S Soft Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
3 tsp. vanilla
4 to 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Preparation

Cream well sugar, shortening and eggs; dissolve soda in milk and add.
Add cream of tartar to flour.
Add vanilla to mixture and mix in.
Add flour to mixture and mix smooth.
Grease and flour cookie sheet.
Place on cookie sheet with teaspoon.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
