Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. light molasses
2 c. finely chopped pecans
powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine flour and salt, set aside.
Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add molasses; mix until well blended.
Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture; mix well.
Stir in nuts.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls; place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
Dust or roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.
Yield: about 5 dozen.
