Batter White Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 3/4 c. warm water
    6 1/2 c. flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. soft shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    In large bowl add 1/2 flour (3 1/4 cups), sugar and shortening.
    Blend on low speed; 2 minutes on high speed.
    Mix remaining flour by hand.
    Cover and let rise until double (45 minutes).
    Stir batter, beating hard 1/2 minute.
    Spread into 2 greased loaf pans.
    (Batter will be sticky.)
    Let rise 20 minutes or until double.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
    Rub butter on hot loaves.
