Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter, margarine and sugars.
    Add eggs and blend.
    Add peanut butter and vanilla; mix well.
    Add dry ingredients and stir until well blended.
    If too soft to handle, chill dough until firm.
    Roll into balls the size of large walnuts.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
    Flatten with fork.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until set, but not hard.
    Cool and store in covered box.
    Yields 6 dozen.
