Poppy Seed Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. poppy seed
2 1/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/8 c. Crisco oil
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
-
Cream sugar and eggs together.
Pour rest of the ingredients together.
Add to egg mixture.
Grease pan well.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Bread may split on top.
Cool for 10 minutes.
Puncture top with toothpick.
Pour on glaze.
Makes two loaves.
Glaze is enough for both loaves.
