German Cream Cheese Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Set oven for 375\u00b0.
    Work butter and cheese together until blended.
    Gradually stir in sugar; beat until fluffy.
    Beat in egg yolk and vanilla; stir in flour and mix well.
    Put through a pastry tube (star, etc.).
    Decorate with red or green sugar for Christmas look.
    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Makes about 4 dozen.
