Mud Bug Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. shrimp
4 Tbsp. flour
4 Tbsp. butter
1 c. fish stock
1 1/2 c. green pepper
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped green onions
1 c. white wine
4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. thyme
1 c. chopped celery
2 to 4 cloves garlic
Preparation
-
Make a roux with butter and flour; add fish stock and wine. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
Add rest of seasoning.
Cook for 20 minutes.
Serve as soup or serve with rice.
